20071105the day was just filled with ups and downs
last night i came back to hostel
i thought my doorstep was kind of empty but didnt bother to take more notice of it
spent the night alone
alone in a sense my toilet mates were not around too
the mood was just too quiet
was reading my accounting notes and i almost fell asleep cos it was too quiet
so i played some music or else i will just zonk out on the chair
it rained throughout the night
luckily when i left hostel this morn for cls it stopped
well, first i got back my accounting project results
B-
ok. honestly speaking, i expected a little better considering how much effort was put into the project
esp some of my groupmates which did intensive intensive research
i did my research okay
well, overall i am still okay with the grade, not too happy or sad
then it was time for the accounting mid-term test
well. before i got back my paper
i saw my clsmates script
some 97 can
i havent seen the first digit 9 ever since i left like primary school
totally stunner
and i was down there wishing i will be contented enough just to get the opposite, 79
and there i got my wish. haha
its too much of a coincidence
anw, i was happy with my mid-term test
i expected alot worse
so i am motivated to study hard for accounting (:
then came the biz law written in class assignment
a B+
NOT BAD
but surprisingly my teacher only gave a grade and no comments at all
how am i suppose to know what am i to improve on
well done
and a got a big fat D for my class participation
serves me right
i know i deserve it
i mean, i only spoke once throughout all the tutorials?
like come on, it was major relief that i didnt get some F
but still, its demoralising
i think i have to at least scrape an A or B for finals to make up for this
and i hope i will
and lesson learnt?
ms fujing shld learn how to open her golden mouth and start speaking up
oh and guess what happen to my empty doorstep
someone stole my slippers
and the stolen slippers was just some cheap $5 one i bought from the ntu bazaar
just a fake pair of black haviannas
LIKE WTF?!
i am totally bewildered
i mean i am already cheapo enough to buy a $5 slipper
there is somebody even more cheapo than me who wants to stole a pair of worn $5 slipper?!
and there is like better shoes to steal can
i have my nike sneakers outside and my adidas running shoes
i can understand if those 2 were stolen
but a $5 slipper?!
pardon my fuss over this
i am just too stunned by this
from now on i am keeping all my slippers and sandals inside my room
to hell with that cheapo
it was such a day of ups and downs
and i am going to spend the night alone again
but toilet mates are around today
alright, back to studying!
