talk abt my life
monday i met jingting
we went to queue for donuts from donut factory
what can i say
we queued for like 2 hours plus
but nt all the flavours were there
abit disappointed
but still ACCOMPLISHED :D
but the happy mood didnt last long until my donuts got smashed
cos i didnt know you really have to carry it properly
my blueberry donut became plain donut can
SAD SAD
after that we went to watch spider lilies
haha. the process of how we got in is. what could i say
we were just fortunate
anw i think spider lilies is NICE
the story line doesnt really have like major twist or wad
its just a peaceful movie
jingting almost fell asleep due to the too many flashbacks
but i was enjoying it
and its really kinda sad
like some of us just get forgotten
okay i shall not dwell too much into the movie
after the movie we went to shop around for jingting's camp stuff
carrying the donuts around was fugly
i was almost on the verge of throwing them away
but the thought of the 2 hours wait kept the donuts with me

morning i went to ntu for medical checkup
the process of finding the place was seriously WTH
i walk until i almost gave up
like different people gave me different directions
so i was like twirling around the area
luckily i met yixuan and jia jia
like phew. wasnt that lost
finally we met someone who directed us to the medical centre
okay. i was alr prepared for a long wait bcos peiwen told me she was there for 3 hours
surprisingly on my day it was fast
first was like height and weight
like i grew a cm
WTH. i don't want to grow tall
i'm like 172.5 now
ARGH
and i gained 3 kg. which is due to the jeans and cropped jacket and that full bladder
YES IT IS OKAY
cos the day before i weighed
irritating
but well. i shant make such a big fuss
the eye test was FUGLY
the made us look at just E-s

and they make me loook at those tiny E-s

which in the past i can go crazy and grab like clothes i wanna try and buy
but lately
i cant seem to do that
like something is wrong with me
so i ended looking at EXPENSIVE and BRANDED clothings
like i went to see Paul Smith, Laundry by Shelli Segal, DKNY and blah blah
i know something is wrong
i must start convincing myself those clothes are not nice
i mean i wont buy
but looking at them makes me feel good lately
rest assure i won't buy la
i just want to see
okay. in the end i got myself a Armani Exchange logo tee
there was 20% off
its my first AX clothing ever

thats like my last buy before the gst hike

20070623this week hasnt been GREAT you know
i am STILL sick
its not like thos major illness
but i have no idea why my nose is blocked
my head is spinning
and i'm coughing like MAD when i sleep although there is no phelgm
weird. but not exactly in good mood
went to vivo ( i think its on wed, i lost track of the days alr)
with mum
she suggested it RANDOMLY one afternoon
so we went
i bought a pair of trousers from river island
den we went to the mussels guy restaurant for dinner
because i didnt want to go food court
there was this $9.90 set meal thing going on
so yeah. we went in
mind you. my mum doesnt like to eat western
its a big sacrifice she made
but well. haha. she came out complaining how rip off the food is
how she can cook sth similar at a much cheaper price
so morale of the story
i shall nv eat western food w my mum again

been watching them
i'm still on the first dvd, que sera sera
its a highly scandalous and bitchy show to me

20070618sundaywas supposed t meet xiao an & lynne at 130 ochard
i planned to bring my prom photos to go wash
yes. i know it has been very long
so 1pm i set off to parkway
i saw this queue which was extremely short
so i joined the queue in hope of getting it done FAST
well. it was short for a reason
i will not get disillusioned next time
there was this mother and son in front of me
i thought they will get it done fast
until i saw what they were doing
they had this disc with like 343 photos
RUBBISH PHOTOS infact
to me they were not worth washing la seriously
but they were like damn exicted with every photo
super long la
when they were finally done with the disc
the mother turned and told me "so sorry, we have 2 more disc to go"

you know i waited like 15mins for them
so i went to another queue
extremely unhappy and irritated

i got my 2 threadless tee at the threadless website sale at S$15?! ok. count it a few dollars of shipping and handling charges
and the tees are really limited in the shop
like a particular design only has one piece and one size (randomly S,M,L)
so if you wear medium, and the design you like only have small
its a TOO BAD case for you then

i mean if you can find what you like and your size you shld just get it locally

firstly, there was no pillar
and there was no cashier
so we walked the opp direction
we saw a pillar

the big clearing up of my room has been done
i threw away lotsa stuff
of all the notes i have accumulated since j1
i only kept SOME econs notes
and my beloved maths notebook
cannot bear to throw that away
others. i see alr just throw
i saw econs tution notes. THROW
i saw gary chan's notes. THROW
i saw GP essays and blah. THROW THROW
i saw my organic chem stuff. OUT OF MY SIGHT PLEASE
i saw statistics file. OUT
i saw all my tys-es. SHOOOOO
besides notes, i threw away files, magazines and many other rubbish
i believe words are not powerful enough
so i took before and after shots of my room
take at a look at the shitty pile of notes, scrambled files, scholarship shit and magazines (in the box). i must actually thank my mum for like putting/piling them at some corner. or they will be all over the floor

it has been like that ever since a levels ended
and after what i believe to be extreme
makeover throw-away
first. lets take a look at the amt of stuff i threw away

20070614the week have been quite okay
in a sense i at least have sth to do everyday
monday was day out w jingting
caught pirates
and ocean's thirteen
2 great movies in a day
okay pirates was good in a sense the actions and scenes were fab
but not much of a storyline
ocean's thirteen was good because of brad pitt and matt damon
except for that fugly nose of matt damon
i'm looking forward to watching spider lilies if possible.
muahaha. we shall see
tuesday morning went to gym
i seriously think my stamina is at all time low
because i havent really exercised for a long time
except moving around in the office
and i was sick the past week or so
but nvm. shall take it slowly
wednesday
the day was mostly spent emailing ms tracy and debbie
nonsensical emails but i had nothing much to do in the day
cos at night was going to club
OK. let me make this clear
i cannot drink alcohol

like my last clubbin session was like last year
how freaking long ago is that?!
anw. afternoon i went back to vj to collect SGC
which i tink alot pple have done so
i expected to come in a few pieces of paper

headed to vivo to meet dawn for dinner

head to st james for free drinks
i only drunk cranberry punch
which was so damn sweet
the others said the shots were salty
stayed only for awhile at st james

met lynne down there
shocked to find that phuture full house alr
so we started queuing into zouk
spent some time queuing
finally went into zouk
den cut into phuture
all i can say yesterday night was freaking crowded
my feet was stepped a thousand times
i was pushed here and there a thousand times
and halfway through i was so hot and thirsty and i had no money with me that i went to drink tap water
not exactly that much fun

20070610having too much free time and just getting your pay equals to fugly
today afternoon went to vivo with my mum
first we stepped into tangs
and i bought the braun buffel wallet i have been eyeing ever since dunnoe when
it was really a mental struggle for me can
actually it was more of struggle to choose the colour
in the end i bought the brown one instead of the white one because brown is afterall more longlasting
GUILTY but happy with my new wallet
not that i don't like my current wallet
i have been using that wallet for like 2 years
and for 2 years it has been unwashed
the whole wallet super dirty
time to change and give that old wallet a break
next we stepped into aldo
the GSS sale was superb
many of my favourite shoes were like on sale
but when i ask for my size, don't have
SIGHS
so i didnt get anything from there
went into the usual zara, topshop, warehouse
i really hate shopping with my mum
what i say is nice she will criticise until i just give up
very hard to please her can

and i bought this t-shirt kind of dress with a belt
its nice electric blue

20070609this is the sequel to my show off post

ok. thurs and fri were busy days for me at work
work non-stop
in addition i no need to do counter
so no more slack time
been clearing those warrant cases since 1999
YES. DONKEY YEARS AGO CAN
those files were like old that there were unidentified MOVING objects coming out when i touch them
luckily i used a wooden ruler to kill them
totally nv see those insects before can
there were like 120+ files to clear
and the files were stored on the top cabinets
so have to climb ladder to get them
i almost fell one time when i was getting the files
but luckily. my reflexes were fast enough
i cleared all files before 530 on friday
PROUD OF ME ANOT?! hahahahahaha
anw my last day was an interesting one to say
taking bus 48
i was thinking
it will be a very long time that i might take 48 to bukit timah
so enjoyed the scenary on the way
went for early lunch with my boss and 2 other colleagues
at first i just thought we going adam road to have lunch
when i hop onto my boss's car den dey say going to holland V
my eyes were like beaming

ok. so we drove there
on the way we had a lil adventure
so my boss was driving his car
den suddenly from the right side some car just honk at us for nothing
we turned and saw this black mercedes with a lady driving it

the black mercedes drew off
den immediately
my boss angry alr
speed up to go chase that mercedes
like those action movie like that
i was like flung back to the seat
den the rest of us GRAB FOR OUR LIVES
i think my boss was driving at like 100+ km/h
totally scary can
so he drove to the black mercedes
den purposely cut into the car's path to go scare that lady
den he sped off
seems childish right
but i tell you

so we reach holland v
finding a parking place was fugly at that hour
cos its friday somemore and there's a mosque there
so many many many cars
we found a parking lot
but it was not sheltered
and it was so sunny
but bo bian. no parking lots alr
walked to swenson
the first floor was filled
so we went to the second floor
we were the first customers up there
it was all peaceful
until more people came streaming in
became crowded and stuffy and there was LIGHTNING
hahahaha
why was there lightning
apparently there's this group of people
who put flash to take pictures in broad daylight
and the flash really like lightning can
we ordered quite alot to start with. haha
a bowl of salad and our main course
waited quite awhile for our food
the lunch was GREAT
haha. cos i nv talk so much with them before
finally i ordered a coit tower
which i thought the others would eat also
turns out they are having sore throat
so i finished a coit tower on my own
I WAS DAMN FULL
but happy

lunch was about 2 hours

so went back to office

my colleague went to the person-in-charge to help me submit

so i went back to my office
my colleague ask me so how was the hand shaking session

den she told me stuff that was OMG
first she was saying that IT is a true blue transversite (men change to women)
i was like OMG OMG OMG OMG
i mean on my first day i thought she was but i was thinking
no la. cannot be right
cos her face is super wrinkled and her voice is deep
so i convinced myself shes just old and her voice is just coarse
girls can have coarse voice wan right
BUT TURNS OUT REALLY TRANSVERSITE
so i have been saying hi bye and talking with a transversite for like 5+ months and i didnt realise it
my colleague say i stupid can
eh. how i know right.
totally shock of the day

the next irritaing thing is
that tiko uncle told my colleague i SASHAY when i walk
like WTF?

when we were in the car
she realise she forget to take home sth
den we went back to the office
i went back to check in case i left anything behind
i mean leaving sth behind is fugly means i have to go all the way back to retrieve it
it was actually raining then
we bumped into the new staff
since the new staff was going the same bus stop as me
my colleague let her hitch a ride too
so i reached the bus stop like 6 plus
hahaha. but i alr wrote on my time sheet 530

few bucks only
so i took the long bus ride home
on the bus ride home i was like thinking about the whole working experience
i experienced first of firsts
and last of lasts
first day i went to work and last day i went to work
think i'm going to miss the people there (selectively) hahaha

20070606this is supposedly to be a SHOW OFF post :D
okay. today at work at around 530
my manager, actually head nw cos he just got a promotion. haha
he signal everybody to go into his room
so i thought having meeting la
so i cont doing my job
den suddenly my colleague came and ask me go in also
at first i stunned
going to scold me ar?
den go in my colleagues all standing
den they ask me sit down
like even more stunned
den my boss gave his thank you speech for me
ok. it was weird
like i dunnoe how to react
but on the other hand i found it funny
breifly blog what he said la
said i was one of the best temp staff ever (*THANK YOU :D)
cos his previous temp staff gave him alot problems
say i efficient
and i not kay-poh (which i found this part VERY FUNNY)
never gossip behind others (which is so not true. but true in a sense i never gossip about a colleague among the other colleagues but outside of office is another whole different thing altogether)
so he say i was like a HORSE
cos when they race horse will put those things on the horse head to make it stay focus
*i really found the horse part extremely funny
anw. after the speech he presented me with a small token of appreciation which i alr know much earlier on because the auntie blurted to me by asking "so you like the present we gt you?"
like how stupid is that right
but still have to act shock and thank everybody

it was quite touching
but not as touching as what my colleague say after reading it i will cry
went home to open the present

but purple is one of the colours i like but nt really my most fave colour
but still its so preetty :D
felt that my hard work has paid off
so from like 530 till nw i'm grinning from ear to ear

reallly happy about the present

20070601have been terribly sick for the past few days
practically didnt go to work at all this week
it all started on monday
one of my colleagues had sore throat so he took half day leave
den that old auntie had sore throat also
although the old auntie is SICK
she still stick her face next to mine and talk to me
like urgh
the germs are coming to me
monday night while i was sleeping i can feel the sore throat brewing i tell you
tuesday morning i woke up with this uncomfortable sore throat
but still went to work because i was positive i could shoo the sore throat away by drinking lots of water and eating strepsils like free
I WAS WRONG
the more water i drink and the more strepsils i eat
the throat became more painful
totally uncomforatble and the feeling was jus terrible
by lunchtime
i could feel my throat burning
eating was horrible because swallowing was super painful
my mum called
she was like "pain den take half day and come bac see doctor la"
so i decided to take half day so i could go see doc
den at least wed and thurs i could function properly
took a cab to parkway from work
amazingly it costed $9.60
i was stunned
but anw. when i reached the clinic
i was feeling groggy and my throat was damn damn damn pain
waited for quite SOME time because the doctor was out for lunch
when it was time for me to go the consultation room
the doctor saw me
immediately
"what happen to you. how come look like that"
at the back of my head i was like "er. do i look that bad or sth"
doc:"you under alot stress isit?"
me:"er no?"
den he didn't probe further
examined
gave me medicine and i went home
i was suppose to like get some rest by sleeping right
but i couldnt
cos by that time every breath i breathe my throat was burning
i never had such sore throat before
i couldnt even talk you know
was communicating w my mum in sign language
i drank down 2 litre of water in like 15mins
but no help at all
argh
den came the horrible part
fever
not high fever
those slight fever
but it came on and off
my tuesday night was bad
couldnt sleep well also
wednesday
i totally cannot go to work la pls
i have to miss the lunch treat for me
like I AM SUPER SAD WHY THIS IS HAPPENING TO ME
i'm gonna miss the dinner date also
arghhh
and as if that wasnt enough
i seem to have caught a flu also
spent my day sneezing away
blowing my nose away
and pigging in my bed away
my whole body was aching so bad
as if i just ran some marathon when i DIDN'T
of course i missed the kbox session on thurs
i have no voice and breath to sing
let alone step out of the house
and my mum was like no aircon or fan for you
i spent my day melting down at home
i changed like 2 shirts because i was pespiring like mad
coughed like mad the whole day
today
feeling better
but never go to work
i feel guilty when i called to say i'm not going work
i have no idea why
maybe because i'm going to die on monday
work that is suppose to be finished before the perm staff comes in is UNDONE
closing of monthly payment is UNDONE
sending of reminders is UNDONE
keying in new notices is UNDONE
EVERYTHING UNDONE
MONDAY IS GOING TO BE HELL FOR ME
and if my manager decides to explode on monday
which i prob forsee so
its going to be a bad monday
i shall just try to recover by saturday
i wan to watch pirates on sunday
ok. shall go rest for now
