haha. n one of them brought me alot of sports stuff. woohoo

yup. we went to eat sakae for lunch
eat until damn full although its ala carte

i met jingting first at bedok interchange
den we go his hse first
erm. i conclude i carnt live in HDBs
cos its like a maze evrytime
we managed to find his block after much effort
den we went to the 22nd floor
long lift ride in fact. hahah
his unit number is 22-538
den we took the lift with a bunch of pple
they also got off at 22nd floor
den when we turn left. i supposedly saw 22-538
n the nuch of pple went in
so we were like shocked
dun dare go in
den later on jingting was like saying i saw the wrong unit number
cos 22nd floor got 2 untis only
so we went to check out the other unit

20060124i believed i was mentally prepared for physics spa tdy
cos i roughly noe wad will happen
some precautions to take
yeah. digress abit. ytd i was talking to tracy online abt the spa
so i asked whether the lead shots were fishballs in size
immediately there was dis whole joke on wad miss innocent me has asked
well. leadshots were sandlike
no wonder i was wondering how can fishballs pass thru the filter funnel
ohwellss
yahh. n ytd i alr concluded dat the expt was highly dangerous
i mean handling with stuff dat is boiling at 100deg
thats equal to burning urself if u r not carfeul
so i thot i was mentally prepared
well. unfortunately no
when the tcher gave live demo
it seemed so easy n evrything
so i presume i can do it too
well. sometimes i say i overestimate myself
when i started the expt
i collected the 90 deg water
n boil w the boiling tubes of leadshots
immediately while i was doing my other stuff
water was bubbling furiously. n i mean furiously
so i guess some water went into the leadshots
there goes my accuracy i guess
so i turned off the flame
hoping some water will evaporate
den i cont'd
well. all was fine until it was time to take out the boiling tube from the beaker
it was a huge mistake asking us to take w metal tongs
cos metals do conduct heat right
yes. n i was feeling all the hotness in my hands
i simply couldnt fetch the boiling tube out

its a funny absurb story that kept me laughing for consecutively 10mins
a year ago. while my mom was cleaning the balcony of my hse
she realised that a little tree has grown inside the pipes
you know that hole where excess water flows to the ground n to the sea?
hard to describe but i hope you get it or else the story wun b funny anymore
it was alr absurb that a tree can actually grown inside the pipe
but my mom said nvm as it doesnt affect anything
my dad say its bad cos the roots might crush the pipes causing a leakage
my family did nth to it at that time
tdy. my mom went to check out the tree agn
ohmygosh. it has sprouted to those potsize like trees
shock my mom man
she decided that it was time to pluck that tree out from the pipes
b4 some major water explosion happen in the future
so she took the first step by pulling the tree
the tree simply didnt budge
she tried on
n finally. the whole tree was out from the pipes
with the roots out too of course
den she came screaming around the house abt the tree
how long the roots were n all
i was thinking dat is super kua zhang lah
how long can the roots be. mayb 1m or so loh
but out of curiosity. i went to take a look

it was as long as a water hose pipe
it went round n round n the tree was huge

20060101dis shall be a super long eventful post
ok. met the 4f peeps at 3
ok. everybody except me n deslie were late
waited till like 4
den we went to walk ard
later more pple came to join us
went to pool fusion
but i din play pool
i was down there rotting like free
after that we went to carl's jr to haf dinner
is full until can die
after dat we wanted to watch movie but no nice timing n shows anw
so we linger n made way for esplanade
the crowd was simply
fiercewe reached there at 10 plusn found ourselves in a crowded spot
at first it was humid n uncomfortable
but dunnoe y later it was okay alr
so we waited n waited till 1150+
stood up lah
at 1159
u heard a loud explosion in the sky
n there is it
the end of the shit 2005
the fireworks were dazzling
oh. i forgot to mention dat at dat moment my dear clsmates sprayed at me

at some moments d fireworks kinda scary.

aft the fireworks
the crowd leading towards the bridge is damn scary
so we decided to walk towards the raffles place path
which was quite squeezy
with all the pushing n sweat smell
quite horrible lah
aft squeezing it was okay liao
but one thing i cant stand is those pple who smoke
so crowded alr still smoke
its damn irritating
ok. so we got out at the other side of fullerton
near the victoria concert hall dere
so jinhao said there nearer to raffles place rather then city hall
so we decided to walk to raffles place
from there me, deslie, yunhong n weichao can take 196 home from lau pat sat
reached raffles mrt
those who were taking train went off
the 4 of us took some pictures first
den head off to laupat sat
by the time we got to the bus stop
it was 1am+
last bus has alr left
*this is the first traumatising moment of the night*
yunhong said there was NR buses to take
i nv take b4 so dunnoe
but before dat the guys wanted to stop at lau pat sat to eat satay
i didnt cos i was only left with 5 cents
how nice was dat
after the food break
we made our way back to city hall
cos only there got our dearest NR7 to take
we got back to fullerton hotel

the bus stop there has 196!

we shld haf just taken it.

we checked the routes out
the bus sotp is nt the stop we r taking from
so we thot the other side will haf
so we crossed the bridge to clifford pier
to our v own horror agn
the bus stop dun even haf NR buses
so we walked towards the esplanade direction agn
since we were dere agn
we decided to take photos
haha. esplanade looks normal at that time

den went to look for our bus stop agn
went to the bus stop near city hall
still nt our stop
it was 250 nearing 3
-btw NR buses come at half hr interval
so the nxt NR wld be at 3
we decided to take a gamble n head off to the bus stop outside esplanade opp marina
n it was worth the bet
that was the bus stop we had been searching all night!
it seems like an oasis in the middle of the desert
NR 7 came. we boarded
n we had seats :D yays
the journey was long cos it went to orchard den back
the only stop we can alight is at paya lebar mrt station
den we walk all the way to the pp direction
by then it was nearing 4
the guys were going to stay at deslie's hse
his hse is near the cchs area
when we reach there
i was thinking whether to walk home myself
or to stop at deslie's hse
in the end i chose the latter
cos i dun dare to walk at that timing myself. haha. humji
but i din regret the choice of going deslie's hse
cos his hse is damn nice!

after that we started watching videos of david blaine, criss angel n blah blah
quite an entertainment
time pass v fast
was ard 6plus le
i decided to go home n plunge into bed
i walked home
quite fast
reached at ard 7am
bathe den sleep till 330pm
wad an eventful night man
come to think of it
i dun tink i wld want to go through the ordeal agn

but the fireworks were really fantastic
ok. my year of terror has begun
