ok, blogging from the 26th morning
lou came to my house super early
we reached NTU at 8am when our exam starts at 9am
with that one hour in hand just before exam
we should be revising
i mean thats what most of the people there were doing
we were happily listening to my ipod
haha, i think prob the people thought we are mad, can still so happy before exam
but seriously, i just couldnt contain my excitement that it would be over soon!

anw, FM and Biz law was just okay, cannot be bothered about it anymore!
ITS OVERRR!

after biz law ended, hopped onto stanley's car
where we drove around aimlessly in the jurong area undecided where to go
den finally went back school to pick rachel up
where we headed for Novena so that rachel could collect her bus tickets
den we headed to bugis for some ice monster!

den loiter around in NTU for some time before we began our road trip

the few of us actually wanted to go pub and chill
but being a monday night
the world doesnt really know the significance of that day
the pubs we went were either going to close or were already closed

having toured like many parts of singapore, we went back bugis again for desert
i think it was around 1am already
just laze there and talk and laugh
den went back home

in the afternoon went to parkway
i made new specs

came back to watch tv and have my nap

oh, i actually came back to home on wednesday morning
because lou said she wont be going back to hall
and i don't want to spend like the rest of the week in isolation in that confined space
so home sweet home
i tried to move as much things home as possible
but hello, i only have 2 hands
so all i could carry was all my books and notes and my clothes

Financial management is disgusting
the calculation questions are relatively okay
can do
when it comes to the mcq on theory
SUCKS BIG TIME
like they can ask u, which of the following is MOST CORRECT
and they can give u options that can either sound correct to you, or some incorrect but some still correct
or all options sound INCORRECT to you, and they give u a last option, none of the above is correct
SO WTF?!
i seriously have phobia of mcq
esp that chem prelim mcq horror which resurfaced in my memory due to the FM mcq
for your info, i have gotten 10 mcq incorrect at a go
mission impossible you might think but i made it possible

put fm aside, biz law is SLAP SLAP
so much things to write
and they give u only 2 and a half hours
its even worse than econs essays
can u imagine doing 6 questions of biz law in 2 and a half hours
and on top of that, you have a 4 page article to read regarding like 6 of the questions?!
and seriously looking at the examiner report doesnt make me feel better
i just feel -________________________________________-

alright, looking at the bright side, 26th nov is freedom babbyy
let me draw up a to-do-list after exams

1) cut and rebond and maybe dye my hair, my hair is messy
2) i want to shop for clothes, i havent really been major shopping since school started, time to make up for it
3) DBSK marathon with debbie, joy and lou :D damn looking forward to it
4) learn DBSK songs, memorize their lyrics for the concert and learn thai (:
5) get new specs, i wan something new
5) exercise! i need to visit the gym more often
6) get a new desktop! my current one is getting cranky, time for new one! :D
7) watch tv like there is no tomorrow

and the list really can go on
I JUST CANNOT WAIT FOR IT TO BE OVER

ACCOUNTING I IS OVER!
LIKE WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO
all the time spent trying to do all the tutorials
alll the time spent trying to practise cash flows
YAY!

i was super happy during the exam
when i could balance my cash flow at first go
totally, the feeling is just :D
i was so happy but i had to remain seated because i really had the urge to jump around
i totally heck the theory question as i was too excited with the cash flow
yup

alll in all, its over
i cannnot be bothered

at 1130am today
i was just in a state of elatedness
muahahaha
even the rainy weather didnt dampen my mood

watched alot of super junior and dbsk videos
happpinesss!

ok, the momentary happiness will soon be overidden with my many complaints of FM and Biz law
but oh well, life is good for the moment

i need some good rest and good exercise after exam!

IT IS OVER!

yay, i am starting to like university exams
it is so different from jc exams
remember back in jc 1 sub u have a few papers
a paper over doesnt mean you can forget about what you learnt because there is still another paper waiting for you
and there was like so many exams testing the same old thing OVER and OVER again

but in uni, no
there is only 1 paper and once its over
ITS OVER
unless u have to retake it but touch wood

the first thing i did when i got back to hall was
throw away all copies of digital life, past year exam qns, thick stack of additional reading material that i didnt touch at all
i kept my IT book and IT notes
shall deal with them at a later date

oh, yest night i had this dream with a combination of laughable factors
the first part of the dream i shant say
then it came to this scene where i saw changmin in my dream
YES. i fantasize about dbsk even in my dream
and the first qn that he asked me was
"do you have enough copies of digital life?"

i was just completely stunned
i replied "erm yes, may i have your autograph please?"

and he said again " do you have enough copies of digital life?"
and i repeated my reply
WEIRD
completely weird
its definitely not the conversation i want if i ever get to talk to changmin face to face

and after that it changed scene to this room where they were flashing the FM answers
and xiah was SINGING out the answers

i was really stunned in my sleep

alright, i am left with accounting, FM and biz law!

i am IT-saturated
i have been trying to gain my feeble IT knowledge over the past few days
browsing through my notes of course
and in an attempt not to let the money spent on my IT book go to waste
i browsed through the whole book
trying to absorb as much as i can
of course i skipped the parts which totally look like greek to me
i am so going to sell my IT book after the exam
it is so useless
these 2 nights have been spent reading online articles
staring at my screen does no good to my eyes and brain at all
but i feel that i have gained ALOT of IT knowledge
hopefully what i've read stays
i am left with 11 issues of digital life to conquer
and past year papers
and probably another general revision through the notes
i am amazed at the capacity of my brain now

anw work aside, been blasting dbsk songs like mad
i figured if i leave to memorising of the songs after 26th nov
i might not have enough time
and everyday i just keep thinking of AADBSK and the thailand concert
tsktsk

oh, and i like liang jing ru's new song chong bai

i bought another bag from dorothy perkins in an attempt to use my $10 voucher before it expires on 14nov-that's right, its my IT exam date
well, theres nothing much in topshop and dorothy perkins
the mid-season sale is just not attractive

oh, watched the CF Anyband today on youtube
its this samsung advertisement- i think
with boa, xiah, tablo and kim bora in it
its like 9mins long
BUT DAMN NICE
i like the song and the way they portray it

i am sure many ntu students are well aware of the laksa that they sell at quad
personally, i have tried once and its seriously not bad
its $3, the gravy is thick and there is lots of prawns

louisa, having entered ntu or like around 3months
havent had the chance to tried the laksa at all
look at how deprived the poor girl is
so being too deprived, we made our way to quad this morning at like nearing 10
so that we can eat the laksa
or rather, she can at least try the laksa once before the term ends

when we got out of our hostel
it was drizzling
so i suggested not going
and lou said "don't worry, i got umbrella"
i almost fainted
ok. so in the end we made our way to quad
there was like NO ONE
we were kind of the FIRST customers of quad
and on a tuesday morning on 6th nov at 10:05am
lou got her wish
hahahaha

well.after laksa we went back hall
and i have been tortured by biz law
my sympathies really go out to the law students
i am alr dying from an open book exam
and imagine their exam is like closed book
and they have 5 books just on contract
WELL DONE seriously

the day was just filled with ups and downs
last night i came back to hostel
i thought my doorstep was kind of empty but didnt bother to take more notice of it
spent the night alone
alone in a sense my toilet mates were not around too
the mood was just too quiet
was reading my accounting notes and i almost fell asleep cos it was too quiet
so i played some music or else i will just zonk out on the chair

it rained throughout the night
luckily when i left hostel this morn for cls it stopped
well, first i got back my accounting project results
B-
ok. honestly speaking, i expected a little better considering how much effort was put into the project
esp some of my groupmates which did intensive intensive research
i did my research okay
well, overall i am still okay with the grade, not too happy or sad

then it was time for the accounting mid-term test
well. before i got back my paper
i saw my clsmates script
some 97 can
i havent seen the first digit 9 ever since i left like primary school
totally stunner
and i was down there wishing i will be contented enough just to get the opposite, 79
and there i got my wish. haha
its too much of a coincidence
anw, i was happy with my mid-term test
i expected alot worse
so i am motivated to study hard for accounting (:

then came the biz law written in class assignment
a B+
NOT BAD
but surprisingly my teacher only gave a grade and no comments at all
how am i suppose to know what am i to improve on
well done

and a got a big fat D for my class participation
serves me right
i know i deserve it
i mean, i only spoke once throughout all the tutorials?
like come on, it was major relief that i didnt get some F
but still, its demoralising
i think i have to at least scrape an A or B for finals to make up for this
and i hope i will
and lesson learnt?
ms fujing shld learn how to open her golden mouth and start speaking up

oh and guess what happen to my empty doorstep
someone stole my slippers
and the stolen slippers was just some cheap $5 one i bought from the ntu bazaar
just a fake pair of black haviannas
LIKE WTF?!
i am totally bewildered
i mean i am already cheapo enough to buy a $5 slipper
there is somebody even more cheapo than me who wants to stole a pair of worn $5 slipper?!
and there is like better shoes to steal can
i have my nike sneakers outside and my adidas running shoes
i can understand if those 2 were stolen
but a $5 slipper?!
pardon my fuss over this
i am just too stunned by this
from now on i am keeping all my slippers and sandals inside my room
to hell with that cheapo

it was such a day of ups and downs
and i am going to spend the night alone again

the week was a super duper tiring one

all the action started on last sunday night
where i couldnt sleep because there was a very irritating bug that was very noisy in the room
i caught it and smash it to death
hostel living somehow makes u braver in such situation
last time i will prob scream and not do anything
well. now i mostly smash any crawly to death except lizards
that is too scary and mission impossible

ya. and i slept at 3am
woke up at like 7plus for lesson
4 hours of lesson straight till 1230
after that had lunch and went to fal to print the IT proj
it was tooo deceptive and naive of me to think that printing the proj was an easy one
especially when microsoft access doesnt allow you to print ur pages in design view
so you have to PRINT SCREEN
its such a brainless but tedious job
finally we finished at around 4
which was seriously a HUGE relief to me
unless you have been thru my IT proj, you will never know how disgusting it can be
and without much break
i did my comm fund presentation at fal too
discusssed the parts and there was some interesting discovery
do you know hello in german is hallo?
HAHAHAHAHA
can you imagine telling a german "hallo, pardon me if i pronounced it wrongly"

ok. after the whole fal session ended
i reach hostel at around 6plus
was like super hungry so i went can 1 and got dinner
eat alr just plunge into the bed
slept for around 1 hour till 8
den went to bathe
den lou came
she quickly unpacked her things and went to do IT proj at 9pm

i did my FM tutorial
and by then it was alr near midnight
tried to start on my comm fund speech but i got nowhere
only half done

and then it was about 2am
lou was still not back
so i called her and her group has been stuck on the report generating for hours
haha
by then i was already too tired
my brain was just dead
so i plunged into bed

and you know what. lou came back at 5am
WOAH
wonders of the IT proj
we woke up at 9plus
lecture at 1030am

lectures ended at 230pm
went to get our calculators stamped
den i headed back to hall
where i met peiwen and had lunch together

went back hall and sleep
woke up to like study IT quiz
major aversion YET AGAIN
IT is just too disgusting

oh. i forgot about lou
having slept a few hours
she went to fal again to cont her IT proj
and she didnt come back until 8pm at night

imagine how heated her brain was
and she blabbered some nonsense to me when she came back
the symptoms of exhaustion

and if that wasnt enough, she had to study for her IT quiz
which was the very next day
haha
if i was her i would just forget all about the IT quiz and plunge to bed
but she actually read finish the whole thing before sleeping
threshold level super high can

my wednesday was spent rehearsing for my comm fund and studying the disgusting IT quiz
but i clocked 2 hours of band of brothers
muahahaha

thurs was the major day
IT quiz and comm fund presentation
my IT quiz was proportionate to my effort being put in
so i won't complain
comm fund presentation was overall okay
and it was the last lesson!
out of my life until next yr
and my nice teacher actually had to give a preview that in yr 2 we will be doing 8mins of presentation ALONE
woahhhh

and thurs was a day worth celebrating
after that me and lou headed to jurong point
we were just deliriously happy that all the projects have ended
we bought a chair back to hostel
haha
and we watched finish the rest of band of brothers w peiying
and we also caught dangerous love :D
and we planned our study timetable

my timetable is the most ambitious one ever
but i don't care
at least i planned

friday was a good day
FM was fast and zbh gave tips. yay

i came back home or rather temptation island
AADBSK 2 has arrived
i refuse to remove the wrappings for fear of watching
and my house has cable tv now!
so i no longer live under a shell
and i spent quite alot of time watching the channels
oops

saturday had buffet at roxy mecure hotel to celebrate my dad's birthday
food wasnt good at all
went parkway and saw nothing much

i am seriously surprised that with so much distraction
my study plan is still on track
:D
hope it stays so

tmr is the last lessons of the sem
would be getting back accounting mid term and biz law assignment results
DAMN. i forsee a very gloomy day tmr
but look on the bright side
no need to go for lessons!

exams in less than 2 weeks
