20070801the past few days have been POSITIVELY DISGUSTING
mondaysuppose to go collect my hostel room key and clean up my room
i heard from jingting that you have to go and clean the room cos it will be dirty
by cleaning i actually think just tidy up things a little and all
well. the real situation was a whole different story
suppose to meet lou and her mum at 12 at hall 1
my mum and i carried cleaning stuff and got there
we reached first so went to collect the key first
hall camp was going on and there were people from hall camp collecting their keys too
and THANK GOD i didnt join hall camp because its DISGUSTING
i think they make the campers roll in mud or sth
must be they think its good for the skin
anw. those campers were like muddy and dirty in the office
i was just praying hard that they DON'T knock into me or sth
after much waiting i got my key
so i'm staying in hall 1, block 16, which is where the hall office is
level 3, unit 249
not bad la. my room location.
anw. so i took my key and went up to my room EXCITEDLY
but on opening the door
i was totally in complete shock
PRISON is what i call the whole place
DIRTY AND DUST WAS FLYING ALL AROUND
TOTALLY OMG!
IS THAT PLACE FIT FOR HUMAN SURVIVAL!
and there was like some bat/bird droppings at the window!
WHAT THE HELL YOU TELL ME
ok. enough of that. we put down our stuff
went to the canteen to eat our lunch first while waiting for lou to come
den went back to the room, lou and mum was alr there
and we begin our MAJOR MAJOR cleaning up session
i seriously wonder whether the previous inhabitants did consider to clean their room up at all
i mean the dust accumulated there was HUGE
cannot be accumulated during the holidays right
after like few hours of cleaning
i'm proud to say that my hostel is CLEAN! C-L-E-A-N!
like phewwwww. a sign of relief
so we went back with mind A ZILLION THINGS TO BUY
and i was damn tired from cleaning i tell you
tuesday went out in the morning with my mum to town to get stuff i need
bought a thermoflask to put hot water
and a happy mug. totally big and happy and bright!
i'm going to buy bright colour stuff for my room
or else it will just LOOK LIKE PRISON
den we had lunch at yoshinoya
positively disgusting because their food was DAMN SALTY
i'm never going to eat at yoshinoya EVER AGAIN
after that we wanted to go cinne to check out ishop
so that i can buy my fabrix case for my laptop
UNFORTUNATELY
ishop was CLOSED for stock taking
what a nice coincidence
so nothing much alr my mum went home
i headed back to wisma to meet rena
went to sasa and get some necessities
after that we went like STATIONARY and STUFF shopping
both of us bought notebooks
just that hers is damn nice and mine is just small and pathetic
i dont want spend money on a notebook because i'm someone who cant keep a notebook
den we went kino
MAJOR stationary shopping
bought scissors, pen-knifes, puncher, highlighters, colouredpens, pens, blahhh blahhh
i spent like $24 there
den we went to aussino
it was major spending for me
i bought mattress, pillow, bolster protector
2 sets of bedsheets
1 happy bedroom slipper
total was like $104
hahaha
rena bought many stuff too
we came out of aussino looking like some aunties
taking so many stuff that we can no longer shop
we dragged ourselves to the paragon taxi stand
and our mouth almost dropped at the long taxi queue
decided to try out luck somewhere else
went to behind paragon, mount elizabeth there
and tried to flag the cab at the main road
after many attempts of me shouting and waving my hand FURIOUSLY
WE GOT A FREAAAKING CAB!
hoppped on and got home
i got home. put down my stuff. had dinner
den i went out with my mum to parkway again
bought my towels, pillow and bolster
i like my pillow! its damn comfortable. i hope i make the right decision. don't wanna sleep all day and night when i'm in the hostel
later on went to buy some other random stuff
was SERIOUSLY tired when i got home
wednesdaymoving in day part I
my mum's friends came to visit
so we decided to hitch a ride from them to NTU since they stay near jurong
brought the stuff to the hostel
arranged and everything
I'M PROUD TO SAY MY BED IS NICE :D

anw after packing and arranging the stuff
went down to orchard again
checked out ishop
fabrix cases there aint much, think i'm going get it custom made online
den went taka
bought a dustbin and hangers
went back to parkway
bought many other blah blah stuff i'm too lazy to list
but overalll. i think i have finished my hostel shopping in overall
making a trip there again in the morning to move the final things in
den it will just be down to WHICH clothes am i bringing there
hahaha. alright. i'm super tired. shall go rest alr!
