20070405i had a fugly week
thank goodness it was only 4 working days
i would die if you ask me to go work tmr
MONDAYmet up with db, just, manda & tracy after work
had thai express
where just's food left me salivating
i'm really looking forward to the day where i can eat anything i want again
chitter chatter at some coffee place at city link
den went back home
TUESDAYi wore specs to work because i woke up in the morning to realise my eyes were puffy ):
had lunch with my colleagues at 24hr Mr Prata
was finally convinced to go there since it sells Northern and Southern Indian food which is equals to NO NO NO for me
they said there are non spicy dishes
we got in and they were like "eh. u very unlucky. today all the dishes all spicy, except those fishballs"
thanks. i carnt eat fishballs either
so ordered from the menu
i carnt read the menu. in a sense i dunnoe what is the food and its name blah blah
in the end i recognised sth i tink it shld be okay
Kway teow goreng - i tink. carnt rmb
den the person taking down the orders asked me. white or red
stunned
i said red
and my colleagues stopped me from ordering that
"NO NO NO! red means spicy. you cant take spicy. can i have white for her and LESS OIL?"
thoughtful huh. hahahahah
i ordered a drink. in the menu it said ICE LEMON TEA
but when my drink came
it was ICE LIME TEA to me
like it was LIME instead of LEMON inside
STUNNED
asked the lady
she said their ice lemon tea is like that wan
so i took a sip
so it was ice lemon tea with lime inside
quite sour but drinkable
the 24hr Mr Prata is actually quite famous in spore
to me. it was famous and expensive and out of bound for me
2 of my colleagues actually went there days before and ate food that amounted to $18
which they said they were stunned when they wanted to pay up at the counter
and i asked them what did they order
they said RICE
THANKS
like mixed rice in the indian style
and 2 portions amounted to $18
wth
but the dishes they give is damn solid wan la
so worth the money but still expensive huh
our food came and i tink my kway teow tasted like fried carrot cake
bad mistake
and my egg looked super funny. flat and big
never see such egg before
my colleague's egg was SQUARE shaped which looked hilarious
but overall lunch was okay la
and we paid up. amount was $18
stunned also
my food amounted to $4.80
i tink there was service charge
my colleague actually treated the us
but later on i still returned him the money
i have my principles one okay
wan treat when i leaving Nparks bah
hahaha
wednesdayi actually should have kept quiet when i finished the work piled on me since months ago
shld have just acted i was busy or what
BUT
i opened my mouth and said i have nth to do
which landed up me with more things to do

thursdayBUSY BUSY BUSY
tidied up the place
cleared the boxes
and my boss gave me 2 thermoflasks
HAHAHA
this time definitely worth more den 2 dollars
not sigg bottle but THERMOFLASK can
muahahhaa
left it in the office. next time den bring home
and i got a copy of the Nparks newsletter which i conveniently dumped it at the office too

today night at 830 Nparks got a pyjamas party
when i first heard it i was like WTH
its like you are suppose to turn up in ur pyjamas
and u're gonna watch music and lyrics in open space FOR FREE
but excuse me. what pyjamas la
anybody reading this and was INTERESTED to go
sorry for nt asking because i tink its very lame
somemore they say limited to first 1000 people
like come on. will there be 1000 people in the first place
towards the end of the day it got fuglier
at 545 when i was all ready to pack and go toilet and all so i can leave sharply at 6
my colleague received a call and he asked me to DON'T GO yet cos still got stuff for me to do
like WHAT THE HELL
cannot drag over the long weekend mah
so i chionged through
finally was prepared to leave the office at 605
was alr kinda late cos 48 normally comes to the bus stop at 615-620
and it takes 10-15mins for me to walk out to the main road
when i was leaving the office
that old auntie called me over saying she got things to ask me
so i went
den she ask halfway "eh. u need to rush off hor. nvm. ask u on monday"
THANKS LEH
i tink i wasted 30secs there which i could have walked 100m or what
AND THAT WAS NOT THE END
i tink some sch was having their sports day or what at the MOE sports place
so when i was walking out
HUGE HOARD OF PEOPLE
i walked at lightning speed cutting them
and
can u believe i had to queue in order to cross the road
in the end i got fed up and cut queue to cross the road which was dangerous but i really didnt wanted to miss the bus
BUT
i saw 48 flew past me
and i couldnt cross the road to the bus stop as there was too many cars
no chance to jay walk or run across
WHAT A GOOD THING TO END MY DAY
and the bus stop was filled with so many students
SMELLY AND NOISY
they actually overpowered my ipod which was set to blasting mode
and they even thrash my dbsk songs
which made me VERY VERY VERY unhappy
and they were standing on the seats at the bus stop shouting here and there
until i felt like i was in a circus
and i got a major headache after that
imagining me standing there for half an hour tolerating such nonsense
JUST BECAUSE I MISSED MY BUS
and if that wasnt enough
major traffic jam all the way home
i reached home at 740 when i norm reached home at 655 or so
LUCKY tmr no work
monday is gonna be an extremely busy day
i can alr forsee that
but put that aside
i'm going to enjoy my 3 days break
getting my pay on saturday = more online shopping sprees for me :D
haha. okay.
i'm off
