i have this major feeling that i'm going to be out of job like SOOOOOONNNNN

many factors have come to play for this feeling
THE CRIME RATE HAS DROPPED
seriously dropped
and i tink is because of the weather. raining raining raining until nobody wan to go public park liao

i still rmb last time there were stacks of things to key in and complete
now
its like few pieces of paper
and sometimes nobody pay their fines at all
you tell me
what am i suppose to do
totally lazing around at work

my colleagues were mostly free too
there was this day this week where i had nothing to do and was about to ask my colleague if she has anything for me
and before i could say that
she said "dun ask me what to do hor. cos i myself also have nothing to do"
SLAP right in the face can
and then we resorted to discussing about her plants and catching spider and tidying up our work place
LIKE WTH
we were trying to flatten the spiders with long rulers
which of cos FAILED. we caught NONE

anw the new perm staff shld be coming in next mth which is wed to work
practise for like 1 month before they decide to hire her
and the worst thing is
she will be doing my duties
which prob means we will share our workload
and its going to be terrible slacking days

oh. and thurs was our company staff conference
so all the staff went to some place for meeting
den left me, boss and colleague in our building
it was literally GHOST TOWN
for the whole morning
only 3 visitors came
i was totally rotting doing the counter

UNTIL
i resorted to watering the orchids
which i tink i have DROWNED them
because the next day, more petals have withered
which is wth again

ok. look forward to monday because its end of the month and time to submit timesheets which means more money for me :D

friday night was good
met up with meiqi :D
before meeting her i checked out HMV's 10th anniversary sale
which was OMG OMG OMG
i almost wanted to buy the whole store can

i saw band of brothers dvd on sale
$67+ like that i tink
i was like. SHOULD I or SHOULD I NOT
in the end not la
but its alr cheap compared to usual price
maybe i will get it next week or sth

and guess what!
i found midnight sun's dvd!
TOTALLY i just took it off the shelves and headed to pay
w/o hesitation

ok. so i met up with meiqi
we went to eat at azabu sabo
good food and we had nice dessert :D
we were talking forever until i realise it was 10pm
LIKE HORROR OF THE DAY
faster call for bill den went around to shop for awhile although many shops have closed

went to check out diva
i bought a silver long necklace and black hoops there

i'm buying alot nonsense these days
i dunnoe why

later on we went to hmv again and meiqi got the my brother's vcd for $3.95! like can u belive it oh so fucking cheap
the dvd is $4.95 la. but mq's com cannot read dvd so she got the vcd

ok. today i spent my whole afternoon watching this korean variety show on youtube called jihwaza
which of course has my love dbsk on it
its really a funny and mind challenging show
i had such a good laugh that i had stomach ache

my life hasnt been intereseting in the slightest bit

okay. friday i received NTU accountancy letter
saturday i received SMU accountancy letter

i was happy when i received the NTU letter but nt as happy as i thought i would be
well. i'm actually stuck in the decision between NTU and SMU
its funny how a few months/weeks back i was so confirmed i would go NTU
and nw i'm stuck in a decision which for nw i cannot decide

i mean from PSLE to O levels
i havent been really given the choice of 2 schools who are going to accept me
for the first time i have to make a choice that might affect how i turn out from university a few years down the road

ohwell. i really hate those aunties calling my mum advising her where i should go
COME ON
its my own life its up to me to decided
and the pros and cons mentioned I KNOW IT PLEASE
so stop calling everyday and pester our family peace
really irritated by them

set those uni stuff aside
sunday i watched nightmare detective with jingting
it was completely a gruesome and clueless movie
till now i still carnt figure how the movie
not that i'm dumb but many or shld i say all pple who were watching were stupefied?

the best part was nt the movie
its like during this part where the person was about to get killed
the music was those scary movie. you know what i'm talking
my heart was beating with the rhythmn
AND SUDDENLY

i felt something drop on my feet
LIKE WTH

i totally jumped from my seat
turns out to be the guy sitting beside me who stepped or whatever to my feet
SCARED THE DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME
and at that part where someone was about to get killed
wth

i actually thought someone grabbed my feet or sth
just that OHMYGOD what is happeneing feeling

my life is so boring nw that i'm going to die from the dryness
seriously
feel like going on a holiday
relax and probably get to see new things

argh
wanted to pon work tmr
but before i left tdy my colleague has assigned my duties tmr alr
ARGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
but on the other side
going to work = money
yes. i shall save more so i can earn more interest!

yesterday was probably the most sinful day of the month
i havent really online shopped these 2 weeks
the only thing i bought these 2 weeks is a ruched henley 3/4 top from wetseal at clearance okay

well. yesterday met jingting at dhoby
we were going to head to the Fash Bash at NAFA
dunnoe whether u all heard about it
but its this event where they had designer items for sale
so it was a MUST to check it out

the event was only on sat from 11am-9pm
we reached NAFA there at about 11plus
alr quite a crowd there

they gave away a free goody bag somemore!
the goodbay was good can
there was 2 free samples of perfume
1 whitening essence
a range of hair products samples
1 $5 voucher for some shop at Raffles city

okay. we went in and started looking around
although there is sale the items are still relatively UNAFFORDABLE
sad thing
we looked around sighing and sighing
until we went to the stalls at the centre

NICE ACCESSORIES!
okay. it started with jingting buying these gorgeous charm bracelet
its self made and the charms are exquisite
den we both got ourselves a hobo and a handbag
my handbag was $50 after discount
and jingting's hobo was $40 after discount too
we tried to slash price even after discount
which was to slash by $2
DAMN HARD can. the person was reluctant to
but i was happy with my bag
NICE NICE :D

i wanted some granny's day out accessories
but after discount is still VERY expensive
so we decided in case we decided to overspend
we got out of the place

went to bencoolen there for chicken rice
which was the OILIEST chicken rice i eaten
i mean even the plates and utensils were oily
like OMG
wth

after chicken rice went to the ice shop for dessert

long time no eat

den we decided the best thing to do after a sinful morning was to go watch movie
so we walked to bugis
wanted to watch 200 pounds beauty
timing was like 5pm
since we had so much time to spare we decided to check out othr cinemas
went to jade
den to suntec
it seems all the timing is at 5pm so bought it at eng wah

since we had so much time to spare
we went to coffee bean for a drink
i drank this mucho mango thing
which i thought the mango ice-blended was OVER blended
so not very nice

after that we still had like 3 hours or so to spare
decided maybe we can go queue for donuts
on my way there i bought a pair of mini wedges at URS
i needed that considering that one of my shoes is going to lan diao soon

went to check out the donuts queue
HORRENDOUS
so we decided we are not going to subject ourselves to that kind of torture
headed to marina square
went into top shop
i tried this top which i happily wore it with the back in front looking very weird until i realise how come the tag was in front
ok. dumb i know. i nv see properly mah

didnt get anything from top shop k. i got self control
anw. i tink zara's new season collection is quite disappointing in my opinion
zara lovers dun slap me
i just dun like

den it was about time for the movie
headed back to suntec

200 pounds beauty was SUPERB
the only regrets about the movie was that the cinema was kinda packed
so i tried to restrain myself from blinking when tears flooded to my eyes la
wth
until that point until cannot tahan alr
take out tissue and started to cry
it kinda gave the que for jingting to take out tissue to cry also
haha
very throw face can
but the show was damn touching
the songs are DAMN NICE
so highly recommended to watch okay?

after movie went to have dinner at subway
den on my way home i bought death note 2 vcd
argh. sinful la can
i spent like $100+ bucks yest inclusive of my food
i shall not shop for a very long time liao

okay. abit sian today sunday alr
tmr = work = -__-
well. at least there's the last samurai, ugly betty and ANTM later!

today was a BAD day
the week has been okay overall
work wasnt that bad
when i went to work on mon i saw a big tent set up outside the office
for once i thought wth is happening
later i found out its an event
for the opening of CUGE
Center for Urban Greenery and Ecology

which the opening event was TODAY
yesterday before i knocked off my colleague reminded me to come early
because my bus 48 have been coming late these few days
so i kinda reach office at 835-840 these days

WHY GO TO WORK EARLY?
because the ministers would be coming to witness that event
you know all the preparation for the event started since last weekend
they added more pots and flowers around
until it really SEEMS as though i was working in a jungle
i couldnt really see the road upfront from the counter

they even added 2 plasma screens just for the event can
was excited when there was plasma screens
but after seeing what they broadcasted
lectures on greenery and all
SLAPS SLAPS
i would have preferred if ugly betty/ANTM/mygirl/my lovely kim sam soon or any other nice shows that was aired

and my old auntie couldnt sit at the counter because they want the IMAGE
i wasnt fit enought to sit at the counter because they want the BRAINS too
you see. you would be shaking hands with the ministers
it would be an honourable moment for me if i got to do so
but ohwells
i decided that after this morning incident
i rather i don't see the ministers

so my plan was to go EARLY for work
so instead of taking 48
i decided that i should take 36 and den take the shuttle bus to the garden so that i can arrive right on the spot at 830
i even went to the bus stop early so that i can take an early 36
WHO KNOWS HOW UNLUCKY I CAN GET

i boarded 36 at 740
under normal conditions i would reach the orchard bus stop at 805 or 810
but guess what
THERE WAS A TRAFFIC JAM AT MARINE PARADE
OH WOW
i've lived here for quite some time and seldom traffic jam at the marine parade to katong area in the MORNING somemore can
wth
so jam for super long
like about 8 i'm still at katong area
SLAPS alr
ok. there was a jam because there was a car accident which blocked the road and blah blah

so i was panicking while sitting in the bus
super afraid i cannot catch the 815 shuttle
and i was thinking if cannot catch i die because i have 6 bucks with me
HOW TO TAKE TAXI with morning surcharge and all?!?!?

when my bus was reaching the orchard bus stop
i saw the Nparks shuttle bus
i prayed hard the other pple slowly get onto the bus so i can chiong in time
and guess what
when my bus is going to stop at the bus stop
the Nparks shuttle simply flew off RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY EYES
and i was left there speechless and of course, ANGRY at that stupid event

bo bian alr right
so i started to search for the nearest ATM machine
which i found it inside Wisma Atria
where people gave me the "what is she doing look" when i walked into the deserted Wisma
i was half running somemore

finally withdrew money and walk to flag cab
AND I TELL YOU
stupid aunties keep having those advantageous positions where they succesffully flag a cab
i gave up so i copy one auntie
when she boarded the cab
i stand at her position and YAY! a cab

to prevent myself from being cheated by the taxi driver because he might take a big detour that will not only cost me my money and of course my TIME
i directed the taxi driver to the office
the trip costed me 6 bucks
1 hour of pay

when i got off the cab
i started brisk walking to the office because it was 835 alr
like wth
den some park ranger called me and ask me no need run so fast
because the bloody event starts at 9
LIKE WTH WTH WTH
i wasted my money for nothing

ANGRY
ANGRY
ANGRY

and that wasnt the end
i think because of the event they connected the cables to kope our office power supply
so in the morning we experienced blackout
like wth
first the lights went off
den one of my colleague say faster save ur work
wait later com also go off
didnt heed his advice
so later the com power supply tripped off too
so my work which was unsaved was lost
lucky its not a lot that i did
so we worked in the dark
and the lights will suddenly turn on den go off again
i tink that lasted for 15mins
which was fugly

well. the minister only stepped to the counter at around 12
which i could clearly hear the market crowd from my office

i was thinking of koping free food from the event
but my colleagues didnt want to go there UNINVITED
so we went to the NUS canteen to eat
and it rained and we didnt have umbrella
so we walked in the rain back
waited till it was drizzling before we walked back la

so my conclusion
i do not support minister pay rise!
argh
want also increase my pay first can!

the past 3 days have been spent well to me. haha

anw. i forgot to blog about a few others things in my previous entry
so here is my add ons

1)it was the start of a new month so the counter had new orchids/flowers
even prettier than last time
at least the orchids do not look that they are drooping
in fact the new pots are fabulous

these time i shant attempt to touch them at all
i will just admire them from afar
well. i tink i killed one pot of orchid the last month but since its gone i shall learn from my mistake

2) my brain is officially rusty
someone pls use some chemistry knowledge. is it acid? to kill off that rust in my brain
BECAUSE
the rust has caused me to look like some primary school kid that carnt do mathematics

previously. when my colleagues were doing my statistics record
they asked me how to convert the percentage and all and i HAPPILY told them the wrong method and of course the wrong answer
OHMYGOD
until on monday when one of my colleagues was doing some yearly report or sth
den he asked me how to convert
like from amount 17 to amount 75 is how much percentage increase
and i happily told him

441%

how i derived the answer was basically using 75 / 17 x 100%
which is obviously wrong for those maths experts out there

my colleague got some 100+ % ans after pressing his calculator for a long time before asking me

ok. my ans was ABSURB was i called debbie to make sure i did it correctly
and to my very horror at that moment
i realise my method and answer was ABSOLUTELY wrong

well. the real ans is suppose to be 341%

hahaha. shant say the formula in case those rusty brainys out there are wondering why
HAHAHA
i don't believe i'm the only one with rusty brain
but now i know the formula
heave a sign of relieve

BUT
ever since that incident
my colleagues have been making fun of me
never fail to remind me at the right moments that i couldnt do a simple maths conversion and i'm signing up for accountancy

anw friday me and my mum went to check out the isetan crazy sale
from the pamphlet it looked attractive with nice things at extremely cheap prizes
well. we thought it opened at 10
but actually at 1030am
so went to venezia and had some icecream and waited before like 1025 we headed there
and there was kinda large crowd standing outside the metal shutters of isetan
i already expected a major rush into isetan judging from the glance
the crowd was mostly filled with obasans and women
i am definitely one of them
so the metal shutters opened
and i tell you the people really CHIONGED in
it was so embarrasing that me and my mum waited for a while before walking in
looked around
the wallets were on sale!
wanted to get those long type of wallet from renoma
but my mum stopped me because she knows i wont like a bulky wallet
and she suaned that i don't have THAT many cards to fill up the wallet so i will look pathetic when i open my wallet and hence. the decision not to buy

the sale was pretty disappointing in my opinion
the sale items were of lousy quality
so i'm not going to buy something cheap and lousy and use it for less than half a year
my mum who was quite excited about the cheap bras
was disappointed too
until i walked to the forever orange pile
which was ransacked until it looked like some pile of old clothes
and i saw this white tunic that is f21 style
$13
so i bought that
at least didnt return empty handed huh

the afternoon was spent re-reading harry potter and the half blood prince in my preparation for the last book that is coming this june

saturday morning
went to see doctor
skin improving
have to keep up the work and effort

went to pre-order harry potter
spent the rest of the day watching kim sam soon and reading harry potter

today
went to vivo city in the morning with my mum
walked around
bought 2 bras from la senza
and i think la senza DISCRIMINATE against flat chested people
because their new spring series do not have A cups which is SLAPS SLAPS SLAPS
whatever i tell you

walked around and found nothing much
liked this f21 tube dress but decided nt to buy because i'm nt a tube person

later on me and my mum decided to head to chinatown
ON IMPULSE

let me tell you why
my mum was craving for duck rice
so she ate it at the food court at vivo
but after like 1hr of shopping she said she was kinda hungry
and since vivo has no good food
she suggested going to chinatown for MORE food
crazy

well. we reached there and she ate another plate of beef horfun
SCARY

den i headed to the shop where they sell the earring holders
finally got them
bought a large round one that can hold 96 pairs of earrings
went home and found out that my collection only occupy half of the holder
nevermind. i shall buy more earrings
hahahah

we went to OG
and we heard there was dis bedsheet crazy sale
my mum immediately wanted to head for it
and she got 2 sets of bedsheets
she wanted 2 more but LUCKILY i stopped her in time before she buy all the designs available there

well. after that decided to go home
ok. time for my ugly betty and ANTM

i had a fugly week
thank goodness it was only 4 working days
i would die if you ask me to go work tmr

MONDAY

met up with db, just, manda & tracy after work
had thai express
where just's food left me salivating
i'm really looking forward to the day where i can eat anything i want again
chitter chatter at some coffee place at city link
den went back home

TUESDAY

i wore specs to work because i woke up in the morning to realise my eyes were puffy ):
had lunch with my colleagues at 24hr Mr Prata
was finally convinced to go there since it sells Northern and Southern Indian food which is equals to NO NO NO for me
they said there are non spicy dishes
we got in and they were like "eh. u very unlucky. today all the dishes all spicy, except those fishballs"
thanks. i carnt eat fishballs either
so ordered from the menu
i carnt read the menu. in a sense i dunnoe what is the food and its name blah blah
in the end i recognised sth i tink it shld be okay
Kway teow goreng - i tink. carnt rmb
den the person taking down the orders asked me. white or red
stunned
i said red
and my colleagues stopped me from ordering that
"NO NO NO! red means spicy. you cant take spicy. can i have white for her and LESS OIL?"
thoughtful huh. hahahahah

i ordered a drink. in the menu it said ICE LEMON TEA
but when my drink came
it was ICE LIME TEA to me
like it was LIME instead of LEMON inside
STUNNED
asked the lady
she said their ice lemon tea is like that wan
so i took a sip
so it was ice lemon tea with lime inside
quite sour but drinkable

the 24hr Mr Prata is actually quite famous in spore
to me. it was famous and expensive and out of bound for me

2 of my colleagues actually went there days before and ate food that amounted to $18
which they said they were stunned when they wanted to pay up at the counter
and i asked them what did they order
they said RICE
THANKS
like mixed rice in the indian style
and 2 portions amounted to $18
wth
but the dishes they give is damn solid wan la
so worth the money but still expensive huh

our food came and i tink my kway teow tasted like fried carrot cake
bad mistake
and my egg looked super funny. flat and big
never see such egg before
my colleague's egg was SQUARE shaped which looked hilarious
but overall lunch was okay la

and we paid up. amount was $18
stunned also
my food amounted to $4.80
i tink there was service charge
my colleague actually treated the us
but later on i still returned him the money
i have my principles one okay
wan treat when i leaving Nparks bah
hahaha

i actually should have kept quiet when i finished the work piled on me since months ago
shld have just acted i was busy or what
BUT
i opened my mouth and said i have nth to do
which landed up me with more things to do
SIGHS

thursday

BUSY BUSY BUSY
tidied up the place
cleared the boxes
and my boss gave me 2 thermoflasks
HAHAHA
this time definitely worth more den 2 dollars
not sigg bottle but THERMOFLASK can
muahahhaa
left it in the office. next time den bring home
and i got a copy of the Nparks newsletter which i conveniently dumped it at the office too

anw. sth funny
today night at 830 Nparks got a pyjamas party
when i first heard it i was like WTH
its like you are suppose to turn up in ur pyjamas
and u're gonna watch music and lyrics in open space FOR FREE
but excuse me. what pyjamas la

anybody reading this and was INTERESTED to go
sorry for nt asking because i tink its very lame
somemore they say limited to first 1000 people
like come on. will there be 1000 people in the first place

towards the end of the day it got fuglier
at 545 when i was all ready to pack and go toilet and all so i can leave sharply at 6
my colleague received a call and he asked me to DON'T GO yet cos still got stuff for me to do
like WHAT THE HELL
cannot drag over the long weekend mah
so i chionged through
finally was prepared to leave the office at 605
was alr kinda late cos 48 normally comes to the bus stop at 615-620
and it takes 10-15mins for me to walk out to the main road
when i was leaving the office
that old auntie called me over saying she got things to ask me
so i went
den she ask halfway "eh. u need to rush off hor. nvm. ask u on monday"
THANKS LEH
i tink i wasted 30secs there which i could have walked 100m or what

AND THAT WAS NOT THE END

i tink some sch was having their sports day or what at the MOE sports place
so when i was walking out
HUGE HOARD OF PEOPLE
i walked at lightning speed cutting them
and
can u believe i had to queue in order to cross the road
in the end i got fed up and cut queue to cross the road which was dangerous but i really didnt wanted to miss the bus

BUT
i saw 48 flew past me
and i couldnt cross the road to the bus stop as there was too many cars
no chance to jay walk or run across
WHAT A GOOD THING TO END MY DAY

and the bus stop was filled with so many students
SMELLY AND NOISY
they actually overpowered my ipod which was set to blasting mode
and they even thrash my dbsk songs
which made me VERY VERY VERY unhappy
and they were standing on the seats at the bus stop shouting here and there
until i felt like i was in a circus
and i got a major headache after that

imagining me standing there for half an hour tolerating such nonsense
JUST BECAUSE I MISSED MY BUS
and if that wasnt enough
major traffic jam all the way home
i reached home at 740 when i norm reached home at 655 or so

LUCKY tmr no work
monday is gonna be an extremely busy day
i can alr forsee that
but put that aside

i'm going to enjoy my 3 days break
getting my pay on saturday = more online shopping sprees for me :D

haha. okay.
