20061105war films are damn nice man
yesterday night i made it just in time for behind enemy lines
ok. i know i totally lag by super long
but i forgot why i didnt watch it when it was screening in the theatres
in fact i have never watch a war film in theatres before
mostly i watch it at home
well
actually behind enemy lines is more modern
talking about US and some country's issues
not exactly war la
but u know. their is a solider running around
hahaha
and it was damn nice!
enjoyed it
esp with M1's commerical free
its totally like in a movie!
some pictures of the show

i love the statue standing on the ice scene
damn nice
of course my all time favourite film
or shld i say serial
is band of brothers
i watched the whole thing 2 times
and i tink its not enough!
and i didnt buy the vcds
i rented them
cos way too expensive lah
haha
but after A's
when i get a job and earn money
maybe i will consider owning a set for myself
haha

this show is based on accurate sources
in short
its a true story
and some of the people in the company are still living today i tink
its damn touching towards the end

two brothers at carentan shooting down more soldiers of hitler
DIE HITLER DIE!
hahaha
oh. you know. i actually bought the dvd "the rise of hitler"
its somewhere in my house
yup
haha
anw. back to more war films
SAVING PRIVATE RYAN!
i rmb my first time watching it was during sec4 history lesson
its suppose to be a M18 show i tink
but ms chan still showed it to us
but she only showed a part to us
and i thought it was the most gruesome part of the show
hahaha
you know the feeling of watching part of a show but not being able to finish it?
i was like dying to watch the show
but it dragged till when i was in jc then i could watch
and that show
i cried like shit towards the end!
argh

i tink tom hanks is so suitable for war films la
the way he acts ah
ohmygod
its godly in short

and this was the most gruesome part of the show to me la
its actually supposed to be the D-Day bombings of the attack by the U boats
but alot soldiers actually died before reaching the shore
oh. and a quite recent show i watched on chn 5
windtalkers
damn touching also
but this time the americans are fighting the japanese
and its about the navajo code
i tink it was a sad ending!
but the show is also damn nice la

yes. i want to watch more war films!
actually more like i love historical films
dunnoe why
i tink its quite surprising that me being such a i-don't-care-about-global-issues person
actually like history
ohwells
i'm going to watch MUNICH!
drag by so long alr
oh. i forgot about my war analogy this time
i'm going to slaughter hitler this time
even if it means that i have to crawl there
YES I WILL!
