finally i can take a good break
before starting the mugging engine all over again

1. first of all. i can only say that studies makes me lose my mind. i actually squeezed my facial cleanser onto my toothbrush n started brushing my teeth. only to realise it taste VERY WEIRD. i was quite traumatised after the incident

2. my mum is trying to irritate me in evry possible way. the most wuliao way lah. we went to pp foodcourt. n i say i want to eat ban mian. n she refuese to let me eat. in the end we went to eat cai fan. where i found a strand of hair. later on she force me to eat a banana when i'm very full n pulling my hair over econs

3. my study room is officially in a mess
its in this state that imust take at least 1 min to find what i want
n worst of all. i just throw the things evrywhere

4. i'm really looking forward to next thurs
time to finally rest. use com like free. shop! movies and just chill
i want to go out desperately. considering for almost the whole hols i've been trying to spend my time n mug

yesterday morning
i woke up n it was drizzling
the mood was quite sian
since it was suppose to be tanning day with the 2f girls
well. suppose to meet at the paya lebar platform at 915
i reached there at 910
so i took out NIA notes n read

den we boarded the train n headed to habourfront
we got like drinks n snacks n mags at cold storage first

we went to palawan beach
there was practically NO SUN
n it was drizzling still
n it was quite cold
well. nonetheless. we started laying the mats n sat down n stone

i swear i was with 3 other hot babes

the feeling of the 30hr came back

food is good :)
n since it was quite a troubled day for me

it was like my first time drinking hooch

30 Hour Famine Under No Roof Camp 2006
from 17th to 18th Junoe
at St Andrew's Junior College

yup. made my way to sajc again
registered n each camper got their identity
my role play name was surenkhuu
family name was Powhatan
my role is a daughter of a family size 13
n my health status is healthy
haha. sounds quite cool right

after registering. we r suppose to haf our lunch
or you can call it the last meal before the whole camp starts
me, deb n manda went to eat at macs. haha
i tink we all eat until quite full

1230-1300 we are suppose to go to the cultural centre n get seated
den 1330-1400 was the opening ceremony of the 30 hour famine under no roof camp 2006
yup. so at 1200 sharp
the famine has begun
yup. so we are suppose to break fast at 8pm on 18th June
den the siren went off
they played the intro of enrgy's fang shou. but never more than that
i was quite sad
haha
den there were screams n all
so we are supposed to get into the scenario after a disaster
which is the role play lah.

so the scenario for day 1 ( 1400-1630)
You were separated from your family when the disaster struck. Your main task: Reunite with your family by the end of Day 1. yup. n my task was to report to evacuation centre 2 to await my kin.
for pple roleplaying as father as mother.
they r like the leaders of the faimly.
so they must go to evry evacuation centre to find the kids
yup. n my job as a child is to wait at the evacuation centre for my parents to find me
the queue at the evacuation was extremely long
kinda like a few years back the hello kitty craze queue
ok. besides that. so the pple queued for quite some time before they got their names up at the evacuation board. so that when the parents come. they know their child is there
ok. i din wait for very long before my papa came to pick me up. haha
oh. n i was in the same family as manda

yup. so after being picked up. we went to the other evacuation centre n hospital to look for our other family members
the process was long n tedious
yah. so they r actually trrying to portray the actual situation to us
they said sometimes the pple in disaster struck area have to wait for 2 weeks to unite with their kin
anw. my family/ group was infested with vjc pple
we had 5 j2s n 1 vip
den 4 sajc pple
1 nyjc. 1hci. 1 NUS
our facilitator was from sajc. yanyi
anw. she was from my ACL class. so i saw her before at SGH
ok. den after reuniting with our family members
we reported back to the cultural centre
den we had a HIV/AIDS talk from this indian woman from india
but i din really listened to the talk cos her accent made it hard for me to understand
so i slept. oops

after the talk. it was on to Day 2 ( 1430-1900)
we are suppose to build a shelter that can host our family
i tink we are given 10 ice-cream sticks. means 10 dollars
the money was meant to buy materials to build our shelter
but when we went to check out the prices at the governemnt centre (carnt really rmb where)
we obviously didnt have enough to build a shelter
so went went to NGOs, n blahs. you know the help relief agencies to get our subsidies
ok. den with the money. we finally had enuff to buy materials
but we went to the black market to check out the price
its actually cheaper. haha. not like when u learn in econs its more exp
haha. yup. so we were like haggling at the black market
n we had to cut 1 of our family members hair to sell it
i tink we can get more ice-cream sticks
so the NUS girl volunterred to cut her hair
haha. brave.
anw. the cutting hair is only like cut maybe 10strands of hair by 10cm lah
not the whole head if u're wondering
yup. we got 4 chairs. 5 thrashbags n 2m of rafia string
then we proceeded to the track n our allocated position to build our shelter
we got our shelter up n it could fit all of us
like yays. i tink we r like the first few families to get our shelter up
den our facilitator said that we should go earn more money. cos the task for day 3 was to earn 65 bucks
yup. so we proceed off to make more money. haha
we went to the bean sorting station
the job was to sort the green beans n the red beans in the huge bag of beans
completing the job n we will receive 5 dollars
so we started sorting
UNFORTUNATELY. the siren for day 2 had to blast off while we are halfway through. so we didnt get to complete the task n we had to get back to the cultural centre
at the cultural centre. we had a talk about shelter
the talk was quite interesting cos the person was v funneh
oh. n i learnt more abt shelters all around the world
let me share abit about the shelters
do you know in phillipines. they haf like homes for the dead
its like a bugalow. n u put the coffin of the dead in the house?
den during qing ming jie. u go to the house n offer ur prayers n so
den you can go to the second storey n stay for the night?
the seoncd storey got like bedrooms. toilet n aircon?
totally stunner
in contrast. some pple in mexico live in the underpass
some pple in the 3rd world countries live in slums, makeshift shelters
thats very ironic man

ok. on to day 3 (1900-2130)
by then. i was felling hungry alr. haha
cos it is supposedly to be dinner time
luckily we had like a packet of soya bean to drink for dinner
n you know wad. a packet of soya bean didnt taste that nice before
yup. den our task for day 3 was to earn 65 bucks
our family went back tot the bean sorting first
n dis time. we completed it n got 5 bucks
den we went to the bean picking station
which totally rocks lah
the task at the station was to pick up 40 beads of the same colour n string them together
for our first time. someone decided to sell 20 pink beds to us for 1 dollar
so when we went into the station. we just had to pick 20 more beads n string them together
not a bad deal right. oh btw. completing the job will earn us 5 dollars
yup. so we completed the job at the first go with ease
den some of our snekay fellors in the family decided to cheat
so instead of picking the required beads
we picked more than required
the guys took the masking tapes n started sticking on the ground for beads
haha. den we got 2 more colours of beads
DEN. we decided to queue at the station again since we alr had the advantage
lol
n so the process went on n on
we cheated like free lah. haha
n i tink we earned the most money at the bead picking station
n there was the hot favourite station. PROSTITUTION
but. our grp didnt go there
mainly because evrytime we wanted to go. there was many police members stationed there
but prostitution earns quick bucks
prostitute 1 time n u get 12 dollars
BUT. u will be HIV/aids infected. n then unfortunately. u will get thrashed
thrashed means theat u will have a thrashbag covered over ur body
yup. oh. n i forgot to say on day 1. there are like pple going ard trying to thrash you while u're not alert. but our clever n agile family never got infected
so for the whole time. our family was never HIV/AIDS infected
we also went to try scavenging
which was like the worst station ever to me lah
the job was to find 12 puzzle pieces hidden in the canteen n piece them up
however. i didnt contribue at all cos i carnt find any puzzle pieces no matter how many times i bent don n search under the tables n chairs
but my my family did it n we earned 5 bucks at the station
in total. we earned 41 bucks for day 3 WITHOUT prostitution
had to report back to the cultural centre
they did the collation of how much each grpp earned lah
we saw this grp with a huge bunch of sticks
n i thought we will not win alr loh
haha. but a miracle happened
our family got 3rd cos we didnt prostitute. muahahas
the top 10 families all didnt do so
n yayness! :)
cos when u prostitute. u have to sell off your children. which is deemed as immoral
yupp.
so the whole activity of role-playing n all was to let us understand better the situation after a post disaster. i tink it was very good
n in between we watched alot videos about the situation out there
showing how desperate the pple in the 3rd world countires are
they r really v poor thing
so in comparison. i tink we shld stop whining about minor things
cos they r like in much deeper shit den us
so i tink i gained quite alot during the videos

oh. n to reward us for not prostituting. we got a big packet of chocolate milk for the group! :)
but i only drank a mouthful cos i scared later stomachache
yup. n many pple in the grp also thought so. so the supposedly popular drink was unpoplular during the famine period
ok. den we had our debrief n we got to share abt our thoughts for the day
den it was sleeping time
the girls were to sleep at the parade square
the guys to sleep at the track
my family found space at 1 corner of the court
n special thanks to vicotria for lending me her poncho cos i brought nothing to sleep on
yup. we laid our stuff
den me n manda went to wash up only
we were like too lazy to bathe
haha. believe it or not
our main concern was to lie down n sleep
den debbie joined us for the night
yup
the night was OKAY lah. haha
although they didnt off the lights at the parade square which was literally BLINDING to me
although the ground was like super hard n uncomfortable
so i can only sleep in a particular position
ALTHOUGH THERE WERE MILLIPEDES CRAWLING OVER ME
let me tell you. sajc is millipede infested. i'm serious
the ground floor classrooms haf like tons of millipedes. no matter dead or alive lah
first. i thought my hand was abit itchy. so i was touching it
n i felt something crawling
i kinda like grab it n ohmytians. its a millipede!
screams lah!
den in the middle of the night
my neck there quite itchy again
so the same thing happened all over again
but i didnt kill the millipedes
i simply fluung them away
argh. totally grossed out
n u know wad. db n manda didnt had millipedes crawling over them
so i guess the millipedes really love me
for the night. i slept n woke n slept n woke lah
at about 4 plus in the morning
i alr saw girls waking up n going to bathe
how kiasu is that we are suppose to wake up at 615
budden me n manda went to bathe at about 430
haha. it was quite shiok cos u didnt have to queue
we took like an hour to bathe n tidy things up lah
so we finally settled down at 530 i tink
hha. while debbie was still in dreamland
den debbie woke up
den we just stone there
towards the end we folded a few paper cranes
oh. there was dis thing lah. like u fold a paper crane. songhe will donate a bowl of rice to those in need
den it was time to report to our facilitators
we had breakfast. which were the drinks again
n by then. my stomach was constantly growling
but since we were alr halfway thru
i told myself i must tahan
den we had morning activities
u can choose between worship or morning workout
i went for the morning workout. which was kickboxing
didnt really enjoy it
cos its like kick n box. haha
n i conclude that the instructor was a gay boy lah
his voice was. erm. GAY
after that we report back to the cultural centre
where they had a breifing on the newspaper collection
den we hopped on the bus to tampines estate
our bus was the strawberry yoghurt drink SBS bus. which they chartered
it was cute but it made me hungry. haha
yup. my group was to collect newspaprs from 8 blocks lahs!
other groups hadf like 6 blocks
newspaper collection was from 0930 to 1400
so we had about half an hour for each black
my group's system was to pair up. den each pair will do 2 storeys for each block
quite efficient hor
so i paired with manda
we went knocking on evryone's door early sunday morning
n it was quite an interesting process lah
although tiring when u had to shift the collected newspaper pile here n there
well. my conclusion was the ah pehs living in HDBS dun like to wear their tops wan
so they r always half naked when they answer the door
n there was dis auntie which was totally sexy lah
never wear the bottom. so it was a blouse n ahems
den open the door n pass the newspapers to me
den the wind blow
n i was totally. see no evil
manda had dis ahpeh. who upon answering the door gave a long loud fart
i tink its quite funny
the traumatic moment during the whole collection was when i knocked on dis particular door
n this half naked guy open the door
then when i peaked into the house
there was many many half naked guys gathered at the sofa
it was quite obvious what they r doing
i was very scared lah.
n they acted weirdly
so me n manda faster grab the newspaper n run off
oh. n some blocks we wnet too had the old lifts which doesnt stop at every floor
so had to climb up n down
towards the end. i was like hating all the stairs
budden i had to say that wthere was nice pple around which donted generously
there was dis obasan which donated a bag full of handbags
got fake burberry neh! lol
oh. n there was dis old grandma which i swear she never clear the newspaper in her house for 1 year lah
we had to mobilise almost evryone in the grp to help her move the newspaper
n i'm proud to say we completed our 8 blocks in time
by then. i was tired n my hands were super black thanks to all the carbon
we went to macs to wash up
n while in macs
i was furiously sniffing all the whiffs of nice food
haha. den our bus came n we travelled back to sajc
on the bus i was like sleeping n knocking into evry possible thing lah
super malu
we got to slack from like 4plus to like 615
my group we started playing bridge
where evry game was damn exciting cos it lasted all the way to the last card
den we really bonded towards the end via gossiping
hahaha. n i found out new gossips. lol
den we went back to the cultural centre where we had the famine concert
eunice olsen n timothy gan was the mcs for the night
we had dis cool band which i'm proud to say one of my friend is inside
they sang 3 songs. of i only know 1. which is wake me up when september ends
den there were 3 super cool breakdancers. which mr fan-tastic was one of them
i really liked their performance
then eunice olsen n joi chua came to share abt their visit to some third world country
den joi chua sang her very classic 2 songs
where she walked all around the cultural centre
oh. n cheeyang was one of the campers too
joichua found him n made him sang 1 line of the songs
haha. they said sheena. the sajc campus superstar was also there but i dunnoe who
yup. den we had ronin ( dunnoe isit spelt like that)
the singapore band
didnt like their performance
firstly cos the lead singer is some albino lahs
either he was born like that
or he bleached himself
or he put powder all over himself
disgusting
den had had long blonde hair
n he has weird actions which were totally uncool to me
n he was super vulgar. which i thought he must curb himself since hes at a school
n the band music was too heavy for me
half the time i can feel my heart vibrating although i was siting quite at the back
n they sang 3 songs which pass the breakfast time
so i was not happy with them
haha. we finally break fast at 8plus
we had bk burgers

n a bun n a cake
i didnt eat the cake
den we waited for manda's father to come
he gave me a lift to potong pasir mrt
den i took mrt to dhoby gaut
den took 16 home
yup. den i saw the news on the famine camp on chn news asia via the tv mobile
when i got home. i had another feast
ate like noodles n drank fruit juice before i went to sleep
hahaden at 11plus
garychan had to call me
n wake me up from my sweet dreamland
he asked if tution can be changed to today n i was like huh.
so i started to call
called bj.
after i hung up. garychan called again n said nvm cos very late alr very hard to contact the rest
yup. n he msged me at like 1plus in the mroning during the famine camp
haha
yup. n it was home sweet home to me
my bed had never felt so soft in my whole life

in overall . i had fun
n i tink the famine camp was quite a rocker

morning suppose to wake up at 8am
so can go gleneagles to visit mei mei
guess wad
i thought i set my alarm to 8am
but. actually it somehow become 8pm
so i overslept
i woke up at 930 in shock

ok. quickly get ready
den went out to take the bus
oh. n my mum decided to come along
she want go orchard to buy things
ahems
yup. so we took 14
den changed to 7
it was like my first time visit to gleneagles
not bad lei the hospital
loooks good inside although outside is quite lao pok
oh. den i went to the ward
ward 839 mah
its a room with 4 beds
so i was damn sua gu
i went to peek at evrybody
cos i cannot find mei mei
she was in the toilet btw
so i realise the other patients r like obasans
so they gave me the look of displeasure

den i realise that 839 was right in front of me
i shld haf just look more carefully cos they label the beds
ok. mei mei came out

so i was observing which queue was like the fastest

the ah peh queue is the fastest
oh my tians. the other 2 pple r so SLOW lah
so i hopped over to the ah peh queue
den i waited until there was only 1 person in front of me
the ah peh say. change counter
so he shifted to another counter lah!
den naturally i shift queue also loh
the counter was a the other end of the world
by the time i shifted there
i realise that 1 kiasu obasan n ojisan has CUT MY QUEUE
i gave the look of displeasure but i tink nobody realised
IRRITATING
den i decided to join the shorter queue
so i was like back to square one lah
u know. all the queuing before that was USELESS
n dat. WAS NOT THE END OF THE STORY
in fact. that was the BEGINNING OF THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY
okay. so my queue was like extremely slow although there was little pple
cos its the man's fault

i alr spied which were the burgers available
so i said " 1 enormous omelette sandwich meal and a large barley please"
the man. which was named OLIVER. basically he stoned
so he asked the manager in the kitchen

den he started turtling to get me my food

i swear he spent at least 1 min trying to fill the packet of hashbrowns

BY THE TIME I GOT ALL MY FOOD
i was on the verge of erupting
so i took the tray n walk off

n she thought i saw my friend so i started chatting

i've been going to sch ta study

ok. wednesday
ahh. suppose to have s46 sports day
unfortunately
my mum refuses to let me go play badminton
as she thinks it will just plainly worsen my illness or sth
AND BTW. i'm still coughing RIGHT NOW

ok. studying is sch has a routine
9-930 arrival + laugh laugh session
930-1200 STUDY!
1200-100 lunch break + buy junk food time
1plus - 430 STUDY!
and amazingly. shuting n i didnt really blast off into gossiping sessions now and then
most of the time
we were really studying
dats quite good
i completed my planned work for these 2 days
although i'm STILL DAMN BEHIND MY ACTUAL SCHEDULE

well. moments during studying
shuting taking out her feng you n start sniffing
btw that girl has a feng you addiction cos she thinks that sniffing it helps her stay awake
and cos feng you is an alcohol and it evaporates
and gas molecules move about randomly in air
it travels to my nose and i smell feng you

sunday met peiwen & lynne
yupp. to shop for ms tracy's present
we lookd around
went to the taka sports sale
where lynne bought her share of the GSS
lol
den we cont'd looking around
yup. settled tracy present
n the highlight of the day was
trying out prom dresses
laugh allyou want
but we went into istean at wisma
n we saw iS with lotsa good dresses
so we took massive loads of them
n headed for the fitting room
snapping pictures away in the fitting room

den we went to daniel yam
ooh. for the first time i would like to say that daniel yam has good dresses!
i esp like the green one i tried
muahaha
n we tried like massive loads of dresses
but we din buy. okay. felt quite bad to the pple in the shop

me n lynne went to had a sinful dinner at the coffee club

suppose to have tution at 815

tom lesson on super at 815. dont be late
so when it was 805 n i stepped out from my house
i decided to take a cab
BAD CHOICE
i hopped on the cab
erm. i shant say what happened during the cab ride
i was quite irritated by the driver
den we turned into jln kechot
erm. all i could say was i'm damn stupid
so the driver drove all the way inside the road. passing garychan house
n i only noticed it when i saw that i've never been to the place before
so i told him to stop
den i walk back to the house
n i thought i'm already damn late
to my amazement
i was the first to arrive.

today woke up early to gym
well. i didnt want to run cos i scared cannot breath
well. my nose is still blocked
soo i decided to brisk walk
it was okay until i got off the treadmill
the aricon was damn cold lah
couldnt breath n i was sneezing like mad
so i decided to call it a day
walked home
on the journey home
the sun was like freaking hot
couldnt even open my eyes
n the worst had to happen
i had dis stomachache
n the worst of all
there was no toilet in sight
so i tahan all the way home
yes. n i had the toilet visit spree
maybe its the oysters or wad i ate yesterday

in the afternoon went out with yoda
first we went to alter her clothes
den went to cut hair

i cut my hair!
its shorter n diff style lah
so pls tell me there is a difference
apparently my mum carnt tell the diff
so yes. i haf wasted $25.20 if you tell me the same thing
ohwells. quite a few interesting things happened at the salon
first there was dis damn obiang obasan

her fashion sense is like out of the world lah
n her pink or purple specs
totally dun suit her

den they were like steaming her hair

anw. there was dis lady down there at the salon asking me if i wan to do express manicure
the idea was damn tempting

they help u cut
