today at 2pm
i embarked on a special journey
arrived at sgh at 245pm
went to the physio dept
signed in
at 3pm
my new physiotherapist called me
explained to me the things to do
n i started doing all the weights thingy
halfway. the assistant therapist called
we're going to have a mass drill
well. i was the ONLY girl
amongst all the MEN
we started doing those drills
like jumping over cones
sth similar to the drills did during netball
okay
not tiring lah
but going round in circles can be quite giddy
n esp with all the sweat that seem never to evaporate
it seems to be another judo session
my god.
someone told me its always the guys who stink when they exercise
n today i tink i kinda experienced it
i almost puked at the end of the drills
n there were quite alot of pple loh
oh my tian
after that the therapist brought me to a corner with 2 other guys
we are supposed to do single leg hops
with the operated leg of course
we are suppose to like hop around the cone lah
hard to explain
do 10 times
so i started doing loh
i did 10times
my 10 times include me putting my other leg on the floor due to inbalance
i was like. dis is simple. no kick
den i finish 10 times
the therapist came n said
" oh. i forgot to tell you guys that a set of 10 means hopping 10 times consecutively. which means u all have done ZERO sets "
thanks man.
so for the rest of that thing
i conclude that my sense of balance sucks
there were times where i did like 8 or 9 times
but i couldnt balance
so have to start all over again
GEK AH!
after that is like mass house squatting session
becos i'm newcomer
i only need to house squat 2mins for 2 times
most of them have to house squat for 5mins
but the 2mins was like the longest 2mins in my whole life
at the end of the 2mins
my legs were already trembling
i cannot bear to think in a few weeks time
i will be squatting for 5mins
n if u halfway give up during ur time period
it will not be counted then

after that i cont'd to do the weight n stuff
nxt time physio
i shall bring a towel
its like all of us sweat on the machines

but i couldnt b bothered by then

i have finally have a taste of wad running is like
after like wad seems a thousand yrs
owels. i feel weird running on a treadmill though
like u dunnoe wads the real speed to run
but i guess it was real slow
cos i took like 7mins to run 1.2km
but able to start running is great :)

anw i realise all the reality shows like survivor & amazing race r getting to the end
exciting!
i think amazing race is not as exciting as past seasons mainly bcos the teams only roam in the US
survivor is exciting. this season is different from the rest
n they have a nice gay rafe who is still in there!

i passed my biodex test
in case u r wondering what the heck is dat
it is a test that measure the strength our ur leg muscles
n i pass it!

i can run!
but i can only run max 1-1.5km
not a great thing
but the feeling is simply great yeah? :D
