sad to say dat i din get instructorship

my mood was just down down n down
haix. aft it ended. i rushed to judo. where i was late
hmmm. judo was quite ok. as in d newcomers were taught how to breakfall only
yupp. den i saw deir sparring
woah. felt kinda shock. cos its kinda violent
aft judo went home
yupp. den i re read d letters n saw d photo agn

hey guys. finally bac aft all
olc2005 was definitely an event to b rmb for life

#12th march#
we met in sch to embark on d journey.
we were driven to changi ferry terminal
took a boat to pulau ubin
where the land expedition began
we had to walk around in pulau ubin w our heavy backpacs
using one old pulau ubin map
we had to navigate ourselves around
when we walk d wrong way, we haf to backtrack lei
lol. den haben reach first checkpoint. we had to backtrack le
n when u backtrack. u haf to run lei!
lol. i couldnt tahan d weight at first
but as d exp continue. i got used to it.
but my shoulders damn pain sia.
evry typhoon member got d chance to lead.
hee. i got to lead too. yays. altho i wasnt really sure sometimes where i was going
but i brought them to d checkpoint :)
land exp lasted from about 1030am all the way to 7pm
wonder how far we walked sia.
after land exp. it was time for d solo night walk.
haha. i tot it was like b2b dat kind. but i was wrong
we had to walk inside the jungle. got a bit nervous la
but i waited for about 2hrs b4 i got my chance
when i started. it was super scary. cos i carnt see anyt
den i keep going d wrong way sia. d instructors hidden in d dark had to tell me to go back
but finally. i managed to complete it. n it wasnt really dat scary la. hahahah
den it was solo night. whre u haf to sleep alone for d night
wels. it was kinda horrendous la. cos my bashar was floating above me
wasnt really covered. den i also anyhow pitch my bashar wan
den i could feel lotsa things biting me thruout d night.
din really get to sleep much. i rmb sleeping for 2hrs plus only
de other times i just closed my eyes n stone dere

#13rd march#
today is amazing race in spore
we went bac to spore n started d whole race
typhoon made quite a fatal mistake at d start
but we managed to catch up still
so vj odac pple went around spore in deir heavy huge backpacks
n d girls had their dogsticks w dem
so we looked like we were pple just out for civilisation. lol
wels. lucky i din really see pple i knew. hahahahahaha
we went to pasir ris park. bedok reservoir. suntec city sky garden. fort canning. indoor stadium. east coast park.
de last legged of d race was to run from bedok jetty to national sailing centre
i kinda died running dere. felt like puking. den had alot blisters on my leg
den i held d group back. thanks to kai xiang who helped me carry my backpack
made it better for me to run
n i dunnoe y 2km seemed like 4.8km to me. it was like endless to me de whole run
but i was glad we reached despite all.
first time i run until lidat.
really wan to die man. n kai xiang n dennis. de 2 guys in our grp r really strong man. thanks to u all 2 for carrying our backpacks
after dat we got to rest for quite a while
den we played games. hahaha. its those kinda small station games la.
but i dunnoe y typhoon rocks in such lao pok games
haha. we won de human checkers. steal d flag n of cos. CAPTAIN BALL!!!
we thrashed cyclone 14-2! woohoo~ :D
den for dat night. we got to bathe.
but i only washed my hair due to time limits
aft dat we got written test. wels. i tink i will fare badly :(
den we got to do performance to entertain d instructors.
we did "lang hua yi duo duo" w actions. hahaha. i tink our performance rocks :)

#14th march #
SEA EXPEDITION!
an event i looked forward like mad after 2 days of intensive walking!
hahahaa. i kayaked w dennis.
he rocks can. teach me alot of kayking skills.
so our kayak was leading all d way. yay. we really rock
n typhoon's other 2 kayaks were in front all d time :D
anw. we got to stand on our kayaks again. to entertain d instructors
firstly. it was d back pple who stood up.
den it was d front pple. i sat in front.
n i tink its quite diff to balance at d front
den all had to stand up. i kept falling
but despite all. all trainees managed to stand n did vj cheer! 3 cheers for traineees!!!
den b4 we can get to pitch up n haf lunch
we got situational test. lol
wels. acc to instructors. we did vv badly. hahhaa
me n dennis saved kim pong? lol.
who apparently had a right leg muscle cramp
we drag him back to shore.
den we wanted to rest him on d shore lahs
but unfortunately. we kinda banged his head on d bow of a kayak by mistake =x
den we decided to carry him to some sheltered place.
he was surprising light lars. lol
aft dat we got scolded for doing badly for d situational test
cos if real situation we lidat. victims sure die sia
den dey changed d partners of d first 3 kayaks n last 3 kayaks
so got seperated w my good partner dennis
i got guang rong. hahaha. wanted to cry at first
but later on realised guang rong not bad sia
i was leading agn! wahhas. for most of d time. lol
den got 1 part. we were ordered to jump into d sea. lol
vv shiok sia! den we had to climb into d kayak agn.
last legged of d whole exp. we had to race ashore
aiyeh. vv wasted. i was kinda shagged. den couldnt catch up w 2 teams in front
in d end. we got 3rd
but all tyhpoon members were in top 5
WOOTS!
but vv bad ting happened when i pitch up
my left knee got knocked by d kayak hard on
n dere was where all my injuries began lars...
after sea exp. we had to run cross country
wonderful right. lol
all of us were super sun burnt. cos we used open deck kayaks.
my legs were like super red? felt as if dere were burning madly
den my knee was hurting a bit
but i still wan to run cross country.
girls ran 3.2 n guys ran 4.8
wels. d bridge really killed my knee
i was exerting quite alot dere
i stopped a few times. but lucky dere was an instructor dere to push me on
i wasnt outta breath act. haha. i was talking w her. just dat my knee hurts n i couldn't run fast
but i promised her to sprint for d last legged of d race
n i did. haha. i sprint like siao. when i finished. i could feel my knee dying. bth sia
dat night. we had field cooking. n i finally bathed.
my knee was real hurting sia. den de first aid ic gave me some zam-buk to rub on. so de pain was not just concentrated at one point. was more spread out

#15th march#
we left for kota tingi
knee still hurting. sun burnt hurts too.
slept on d long bus ride. felt vv shiok
stopped at d resort n haf lunch
when typhoon members went mad
all thanks to dennis
he started talking rubbish n gaying ard
lol. he wore gerry's hairband lahs!
laugh my ass off sia.
aft lunch. we embarked on d climb.
flat roads were still ok for my knee
den we got hornet attack drill where we had to lie on hot sand
add on to my sun burnt.
climbing up d mountain was quite tough for me. cos i kept slipping
i fell a few times in d rivers all thanks to slippery rocks
den suffered abrasion lahs. pain like siao. cos i had sun burn de d skin just rubbed off lidat
den i grabbed a stem w thorns. even more wonderful. lucky daryl helped me squeeze it off
when we finally reach our campsite.
i was superbly in pain.
dey said i haf to dress my wounds.
n dat meant alcohol swops. i refused to. but i know dun disinfect cannot
justina helped me cleaned my wound
n i cried due to d intense pain from d alchohol swipe.
damn malu sia. den after dat still got hornet attack drill
so de disinfected wound got sand particles agn
sian. den my GI helped me dress it agn
by dat time. i could tolerate d pain better
we had field cooking agn. presented porridge. lol
at night we had night recreation!
typhoon was damn high thruout mans
we performed "long juan feng", "lang hua yi duo duo" n ended w cheers
d NR rocks man!
after all. we went to sleep at around 11+
woke up at 1am to do sentry duty
where we talked w our GIs n ling peng. ex-typhoon instructor
each of us had to go to d campfire den d other grp members must comment on our peformance
haha. i wondered wad comments i had
wels. personally i felt dat i could haf done better w/o all my injuries. so i kinda feel dat i held d grp behind cos of me

#16th march#
last day of olc. descended down kota tingi
haha. wels. hilarious tings happened
d descend was scary. cos i always couldnt find my footing n it was quite high.
den my pants split =x
n it was d tcher who told me.
how malu can i get?
den d split was damn big la. i asked ard who got extra pants
den jia ning had. wel. hers was S size man. but better den nothing. so i changed under a sarong. lol
i din split her pants until we reached d bottom
when i sit down. it SPLITED agn. wonderful
but d split was not vv great. n i had to tahan anw.
so w dat holey pants. we went all d way bac to city.
we had macs for lunch! yumms :)
den we went bac to vj!
b4 mass cleaning.
we had alot times of hornet attack drills
had to lie on d hot tiles agn
de few last hornet attack drills really killed my leg sia
but i still did it cos it was d last few. hahahaha
den mass cleaning! i cleaned d mass tins
was glad our grp was assigned dis task
if it was washing d other stuff. i will die out of pain frm water
after all. we had de-breif
did survey on d camp. n had to write comments for our grpmates
den we had prize presentation!

wah. it was super unexcpeted cos we werent excelling in all d activities
we received d prestigous silver odac badge.
got to wear it when sch reopens. i was super excited about it man
we cleaned up n left for home

till now i still cannot get over d fact dat olc was over
all d suffering n hardships will definitely stay w me forever.
my grp mates - kai xiang, dennis, debbie, jia ning, geraldine
dey will nv b forgotten.
so i really hope to b chosen as instructor now. i wan to join odac badly!
hahaha. wels. i will just let nature take its course anw.

den d infection is quite bad
ytd after slv. i came home n found out to my horror my legs were dat of pig trotters
super swollen n bloated
quickly went to see doc
he said my infection caused d swell
gave me pills n medicine
den he said i cannot walk too much n exempted frm pt for a week!
rahs. meant no rock climbing for tues :(
den i haf been resting at home. sleeping now n den. vv shagged
now i can only pray dat my injuries heal quickly n dun leave scars :

n when i woke up. to my horror was 710
quickly go get dressed up
den when i got out of d hse.
i forgot to take my rubber band to tie hair

den 730 lidat den i reach bus stop to take bus
amazing. den i almost dash to sch
but i was not late cos no assembly. yays :)

tdy we had farewell for clsmates leaving
but meijie din come
so we ate n play.
quite fun. but i was super tired n i wanted to conserve energy for odac pre-camp later on
so i was actually not dat hyper

aft sch me n debbie went pp to change money
den came bac for pre-camp
pre-camp overall was quite ok.

our first station was build fire.
